Sosuke was prematured when born due to his mother being fragile and rather weak her whole life.When an infant Sosuke was not expected to live more than a few hours or at most a day.luckly Sosuke's father being a scientist was determined not to let his first child die even though he himself was considered a very young adult (father was 20 mother was 18) so in those few hours Sosuke's father created an injection that will allow Sosuke to live.

The thing was that the injection that Ryou (Sosuke's father) created was not tested so it was more of a hoping 'it would works' injection.When Sosuke was taken away by Ryou and entered into the organisations then later created in to a chimera the injection that now flowed through his veins mutated into 'The 6th Genesis' or The Gene 6.

The Genesis how ever increased when put to the right treatment and as Sosuke grew older.

 The way the scientists of this Organisation ( Chronos) used Sosuke's unique Genes was to awaken both the killing sense and the state of mind that he was being threatened as the animal he was combined with and seeing how Sosuke was combined with a Wolf and partially Lion (Sosuke although does not know that he is combined with another animal other than a wolf) it worked perfectly.The sense and the state of mind was triggered was by injecting or forcing Sosuke to swallow several pills called a 'Booster' oh how many of the others in the Organisations would call it.The Booster shuts of all human characteristics that is found in the brain and as a replacement lets the state of mind and killing sense to take over.

In Drachma where the Sosuke spent most of his days when entered into the Chronos Organisation as a young child was put into many tests after they found out about his Gene.Sosuke was even put to slaughter small villages that were found in Drachma.To keep him in check the engineers of the Chronos Organisations created a device that would shock Sosuke if he were to turn on the scientists or attempt to escape at the state of being controlled by the Gene (the device is around Sosuke's chest in the drawing). Although Sosuke does not have memory of himself doing these actions he does often awaken in the middle of the night with night terrors of blurred visions of a 'monster' or how he would put it when younger.
